Questions to take to your visit

# Bring questions. Leave with clearer answers.

Use these prompts in the room or during telehealth—a visit by video, phone or online messages. An unanswered question can stay open.

You can ask. You can pause.

The person

## Check who will look into your problem

For the person looking into your health problem, note their name—whether they are a doctor, nurse or another health professional. Ask about their role and which board issued their license.

A doctor’s state medical board handles licenses and records whether it has taken action against a doctor for breaking its rules.

Even if the board lists no action against the doctor, that is not a rating of the care you will get.

### Can this doctor treat me where I am?

US guidance starts with your location during the visit: the doctor needs a license or permission from that state’s medical board.

For this guidance, our check date is September 26, 2026.

For an online visit, check the state where you will be sitting, even if you live elsewhere. Find that state’s board below and search for the doctor’s name. Ask the board to confirm any permission that is unclear.

### Will there be room for my questions?

The Federation of State Medical Boards draws the state boards together into a national group.

Its advice says an online visit cannot rely only on a treatment menu or a form you fill in.

The doctor must look into your health problem and give you a chance to ask questions.

This advice does not replace state rules; its status was checked September 26, 2026.

Ask how an in-person examination or a test would be arranged if the doctor or nurse needs more information.

The offer

## Ask what is being offered

Protein building blocks join into short chains called peptides; BPC-157 is one such chain, made in a lab.

FDA means Food and Drug Administration; this US agency checks evidence for each medicine and its proposed use before approval.

### Which human study supports this use?

Ask to see the study. What problem did the people have? What changed? Was another group studied alongside them for comparison?

Claims of guaranteed healing or “no side effects” go beyond what the BPC-157 evidence can establish, as checked September 28, 2026.

### What is the exact substance, and who makes it?

FDA found different versions of the substance called BPC-157, so ask which exact version is proposed and who made it.

Ask who would fill the prescription and supply the medicine. If a pharmacy is named, use the state pharmacy-board search linked below to check its license.

The state’s pharmacy listing shows a license exists; it cannot tell you whether every medicine supplied meets the rules.

### What does the batch testing actually show?

A batch is the amount made at one time. Purity means how much of a tested sample is the substance named on its label.

FDA reviewed test reports for batches of BPC-157.

Most gave a purity result but no details of tests for unwanted substances in the batch.

FDA identifies checks for stray particles, bacterial poisons, and living germs as key safety tests for injections.

A purity result alone cannot answer those safety questions.

Pause on claims that sound official.

“FDA registered” does not give a facility’s products FDA approval; position checked September 26, 2026.

A label saying “research use only” is no evidence of FDA review for people.

BPC-157 still had no such approval on September 28, 2026.

Costs behind the care offer

## Read the whole bill before agreeing

BPC-157 had no approved US medicine when checked on September 28, 2026.

There is no published price from the maker of an approved BPC-157 medicine or from a government drug program.

This guide cannot give you a price range for your bill. Ask for a written total for your own care, with each charge shown separately.

The visit

What does the visit to discuss my problem cost, even if no treatment follows?

Tests and follow-up

Which items are covered by this price, and which have an extra charge?

Any proposed medicine

What does the quote cover, including delivery?

Ongoing charges

Does anything renew? How do I end it or ask for a refund?

Insurance

What will my plan pay for each item? Ask the plan to confirm.

Write the full quote in your notes, including what you would still owe if you stopped after the first visit.
